Attention VLEs – Follow System Security Guidelines
Every VLE should follow System Security guidelines. The objective of these guidelines is the preservation of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and information used by VLEs.
These guidelines will help VLEs to provide a starting point for implementing the consistency needed to decrease variation in security processes, which increases control of security within CSC.
System Security Guidelines
- Activate and update antivirus protection software on your computer system.
- Regularly scan and update patches in system lo avoid malicious software or virus.
- Always use complex passwords and lock your system when not in use.
- Avoid sharing system and application passwords.
- Avoid Installing unauthorized programs or Illegal software on system
- Avoid opening suspicious emails and links
