Launch of Foreign Exchange Lead service with UNIMONEY
We are happy to inform all of you that CSC E-Governance Service India Ltd has started Foreign Exchange Lead Service with UNIMONI on Digital Seva portal. Currently Foreign exchange service is offered to foreign visitors and tourists by particular firms and hotels those who have been approved by RBI to deal in foreign currency notes, coins and traveller’s cheques
Steps for generating Foreign Exchange Lead
Step 1. Open the https://digitalseva.csc.gov.in/
Step 2. VLE has to click on the “VLE Login” button & use his / her credentials to login.
Step 3. Type UNIMONI / Foreign Exchange in the search box option.
Step 4. Once you go to the foreign exchange home page select the service provider, Currently UNIMONI is the service provider
Step 5. VLE to check the requirement of the customer and input the same on the portal to generate foreign exchange lead.
Step 6. VLE will take Rs 10 + GST from the customer as service charge for generating his lead.
Step 7. Once the lead is submitted with UNIMONEY the authorised Person of UNIMONEY will approach the customer for foreign exchange or Prepaid Card.
Note
- CSC SPV is just connecting the prospective customers with UNIMONEY so that they can be serviced for Foreign exchange service
- No individual is permitted to carry on or advertise that they carry on money changing business unless they own a valid money changer’s license issued by the RBI.
- VLEs are advised not to advertise this service as any individual found undertaking any sort of money changing business without a valid license is liable to be penalised under the Act by RBI.
