VLE’s as Rural Authorized Person (RAP) to sell Insurance Products:
VLE RAP Exam Fee increased from Rs.350 to Rs.1000 (From November onwards)
As you are all aware that Rural Authorized Person( RAP) Insurance service allows a VLE to sell Insurance Products through Digital Seva Portal once they pass IRDAI examination.
It is the only channel that allows licensed VLE to sell both Life Insurance and General Insurance products.
Some services of VLE’s who have not cleared RAP exam shall be deactivated on 16th Nov 2017. This is the right opportunity for all the VLE’s to register for RAP service as from 16th Nov 2017 onwards the RAP registration and license fee will be increased from Rs 350 to Rs 1000.
The hike in fee will also be there for exam-reappear from Rs 175 to Rs 1000
