Requesting interested Divyang VLEs who have disability certificate of minimum 40% disability to apply for Financial assistance from NHFDC
You are aware that Government of India has set up National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on 24th January 1997. It is wholly owned by Government of India and managed by Board of Directors nominated by Government of India.
The main objective of NHFDC is to provide financial assistance for wide range of income generating activities to disabled persons and to promote economic development activities and self-employment ventures for the benefit of persons with disabilities.
NHFDC functions as an apex institution for channelizing fundsthrough the State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs) nominated by the respective State/UT Government(s) and through Public Sector Partner Banks.
