New Service live for CSCs -PM VISWAKARMA Project Guideline & process for VLEs/CSCs
PM VISWAKARMA Project Guideline & process for VLEs/CSCs is as follows:
The following benefits will be provided to all Artisans and Craftspeople under PM Vishwakarma Yojana :-
1.Loan up to Rs. 1,00,000/- will be provided at 5% Interest Rate in 1st Phase.
2. Loan up to Rs. 2,00,000/- will be provided at 5% Interest Rate in 2nd Phase.
3. Skill Training will also Provided.
4. Stipend of Rs. 500/- per Day will be provided during Training Period.
5. Rs. 15,000/- will be provided to Purchase Advance Tools.
6. PM Vishwakarma Certificate and Identity Card will also provided.
VLE gets Rs 80/- per application
Under PM Vishwakarma scheme, the artisans and craftspeople will be provided recognition through PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card, Credit Support upto Rs.1 lakh (First Tranche) and Rs.2 lakh (Second Tranche) with a concessional interest rate of 5%. The Scheme will further provide Skill Upgradation, Toolkit Incentive, Incentive for Digital Transactions and Marketing Support.
The scheme will provide support to artisans and craftspeople of rural and urban areas across India.
Eighteen traditional trades will be covered in the first instance under PM Vishwakarma.
These trades include (i) Carpenter (Suthar); (ii) Boat Maker; (iii) Armourer; (iv) Blacksmith (Lohar); (v) Hammer and Tool Kit Maker; (vi) Locksmith; (vii) Goldsmith (Sonar); (viii) Potter (Kumhaar); (ix) Sculptor (Moortikar, stone carver), Stone breaker; (x) Cobbler(Charmkar)/ Shoesmith/Footwear artisan; (xi) Mason (Rajmistri); (xii) Basket/Mat/Broom Maker/Coir Weaver; (xiii) Doll & Toy Maker (Traditional); (xiv) Barber (Naai); (xv) Garland maker (Malakaar); (xvi) Washerman (Dhobi); (xvii) Tailor (Darzi); and (xviii) Fishing Net Maker.
