As you are all aware that Rural Authorized Person( RAP) Insurance service allows a VLE to sell Insurance Products through Digital Seva Portal once they pass IRDAI examination. It is the only channel that allows licensed VLE to sell both Life Insurance and General Insurance products.
It is mandatory for all VLE’s to become a RAP. ALL VLE’s should register themselves for RAP service and to appear for RAP exam using the below link
On VLE’s demand, the deadline to register for RAP service has been extended to 30th Nov 2017. Post 30th Nov, services of those VLE’s who did not register for RAP shall be deactivated.
The RAP registration fee will be increased to Rs 1000 from Dec 1, 2017. This hike in fee is also applicable on exam – reappear.
