CSC to set up 6,000 CSC Academy centres in Coming 3 month
In a path-breaking move, CSC SPV has planned to set up 6,000 CSC Academy centres (one in every block) pan India in next 3 months. These academies will offer courses from Symbiosis University, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) and various skill based programs.
As it is a known fact that ‘education and skill hold the foundation of CSCs. These academies will offer various courses as per the latest requirement ofleading industries. This shows the appetite to learn among people in rural area. We need to take education and skill courses with the help of technology to their doorsteps.
While IIBF, NIOS, NIELIT, IGNOU and Symbiosis will conduct test at these authorized centres, students will be able to appear in examination at CSC Academies.
All CSC Skill Centres must register their CSCs as CSC Academy to avail the future opportunities in skill and education domain as well as to become authorized exam centre with various agencies.
