National Pension System –
- NPS is a government-backed retirement savings plan for any Indian citizen aged 18-60.
- The initial contribution to open a PERMANENT RETIREMENT ACCOUNT NUMBER (PRAN) is Rs. 500 and minimum annual contribution is Rs. 1000. You make a lump sum payment or pay in installments as per your wish.
- As a customer, the subscriber can claim extra deduction of R.s 50,000 under Sec 80CCD (1B).
Vle Can Also Open the NPS A/c For themselves.
- NPS is portable – Subscribers can operate their account from anywhere in the country, even if they change the city, job or their pension fund manager.
- Subscriber receive I Pin ( Internet password) and T Pin ( Telephone Password) so that he/she can check the statement of transaction himself.
Subscriber can also change the details him/herself like:-
- Landline number
- Mobile number
- Email id
- Correspondence Address
- Scheme Details
- Reset of I pin and T Pin
Partial Withdrawal Facility is available in NPS Tier 1.Subscriber can choose PFMs (pension fund Manager ) himself at the time of registration.
NPS is regulated by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development authority (PFRDA), with transparent investment norms and regular monitoring and performance review of fund managers by NPS Trust

Commission for vle :-
VLE’s will earn commission of Rs 100 for each NPS account opened and in case of contribution to existing pension account commission Rs 16/- .
